Strength Training for Sports
A common mistake for many athletes is to train like bodybuilders. Athletes must train explosively and utilize specific techniques that transfer to there sport. Our program integrates Olympic style weightlifting and uses equipment such as kettlebells, bands, chains, tires, sandbags, sleds, medicine balls, dumbbells, barbells & cables.
Vision & Reaction Training
Athletes have better visual abilities than non-athletes and superior athletes possess better visual skills than lower-level athletes. Seeing 20/20 or better isn't the only measure of good vision. You may focus well on objects but your vision isn't just one skill — it's a set of several skills, including depth perception and peripheral vision. By strengthening an athlete’s visual skills, focus and concentration, their level of play greatly improves. Many athletes will notice a significant improvement after just one training session.
Core Training
Core stability training is essential to sports performance and injury prevention. The body's core muscles are the foundation for all other movement. The muscles of the torso stabilize the spine and provide a solid foundation for movement in the extremities. Training the muscles of the core also corrects postural imbalances that can lead to injuries. This program involves using many muscles in a coordinated movement or patterns rather than isolating a specific joint.
M.E.L.T. TM (Metabolic Efficient Lactate Training)
Commonly referred to as cardiovascular conditioning, this patented program uses specific energy systems to maximize your athletic performance. It targets your sport as well as the position you play.
Release TM
An integrated system promoting improvement in flexibility, stability & strength. Unlike conventional stretching, this patented program improves functional movement patterns by a unique series of biomechanically correct exercises. Most stretching programs fall short of providing stability & strength with improved range of motion and may actually be harmful. The Release TM method has the ability to restore the body back to its natural function & improve athletic performance.
Supertraining
An advanced level speed, agility & strength program with an emphasis on refining skills and mechanics. For professional or advanced level athletes. Must have coach’s approval.
Football Combine training (spring only)
Provides specific training for high school, college & professional level players. You will learn how to improve your techniques on the following drills (40 yd dash, vertical jump, bench press, L-cone, short shuttle & broad jump).
Transitional Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation
We combine non conventional & traditional physical therapy with athletic conditioning to decrease the time of recovery. Our team of therapist, doctors, chiropractors & trainers utilize today’s most progressive treatments and therapies.
Pre-habilitation or injury prevention
Focuses on detecting imbalances that may affect your performance. Proper form & bio-mechanics are emphasized to decrease the chance of injuries. Specific exercises are prescribed for some of the most common injuries of the knee, shoulder, back and ankle.
Sports Nutrition
As an athlete your requirements for food and supplementation can vary. Our approach is to individualize each nutrition plan according to your metabolic & bodytype. After an evaluation a customized meal and supplement plan will be outlined. We can take a closer look at the following:

- How to eat, supplement and hydrate before training or competition

“IN THE ZONE” – Peak Performance Mental Edge Training
Training includes biofeedback, visualization, The Power Plate, and neurological re-patterning practices with Georgia K. Connor, Ph.D., a Certified Neurofeedback Learning Specialist since 1994. Georgia draws on her background of neuroscience and more than 20 years of performance as an athlete, concert dancer, and violinist to guide you into accessing your highest potential and zeroing in on your, IN THE ZONE game. The tools learned in this program will help maximize the following:
